Humble Beginnings
Founded in 1988, Bergad began as a producer of bunk bed mattresses in a building with wooden floors and a questionable furnace. Within three decades, it would become an industry leader in the development of polyurethane foams and gels.
Our Timeline
1990’s – Began producing memory foams in-house to ensure quality material.
2000’s – Expanded the product line to focus on technical grade foams.
2015 – Moved operations to a larger facility which allowed us to expand our product line to include gels, gel composites and phase change materials.
2018 – Achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, the world’s most widely recognized and accepted quality management standard.
